The world's biggest amateur radio exhibition, the Dayton Hamvention
http://www.hamvention.org/ , is to remain at the Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio, until at least 2007. Over the years there have been persistent rumours that the Hamvention would leave Dayton. Now, the Hamvention General Chairman, Gary Des Combes, N8EMO, has announced a new three-year contract with the owners of the Hara Arena complex, which has been the venue of the Dayton Hamvention for nearly four decades. The 2005 Hamvention is scheduled for 20 to 22 May. (RSGB) |
