The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland has said it intends to licence more
radio and television stations and crack down on stations that fail to abide
by licence conditions.

The plans are among 11 goals set out in the commission's strategic plan for
the coming four years.

The BCI also said it wanted to promote plurality of ownership.
