Default RTL 1440 DAB

** LUXEMBOURG. Telefunken transmitter deliveries --- This morning
I intercepted RTL 1440 with a 2 kHz tone at 0200. At 0205 the signal
switched to digital and this went on until 0220, when there was a 5
minute break, apparently without carrier, before the digital signal
continued. No RTL ID, but who else could it be? So it seems the new
TRAM transmitter is already in place and testing. The worst situation
now would be if the owners decide to fill hitherto unused night hours
with DRM (Olle Alm, Sweden, Dec 18, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

DRM tests are also reported since more than one year also on LW 216 kHz,
specially during week-end nights

I'm hearing lots of stories about the availability of AM licences in
France.

What is happening over there are do you by any chance have aq list of
the licences with city and EMRP levels?

Are these licences put up for auction or is it a case that any group can
apply to your authority's?

Regards
