Because of this forum and the gentleman that approved my posting of a
plea many years ago this broadcast will be possible. It has been a goal
of mine to find an individual that had a story to relate about "Enemy
Helicopters" in the Viet Nam War. This week July 2005 has been an
exciting one for my television and radio series has received two

A Vietnam War Veterans Eyewitness Account of an event that happened in
the spring of 1966 30 miles south of the DMZ. The combat squad were in
20 bunkers of two man teams stating that the object was silent huge and
below radar contact this sighting was verified by another two man team

2300 hours" I Corps" was the location. Sound of rushing wind in a
distance. It took about 5 min. to reach our area. It rattled the cans
tied in the barbwire. It was at this time that me and another Marine
looked up. It was black no lights 200ft. off the ground and disk shape.
It was Hugh and moving no more than 10 MPH. It took about a min. for it
to completely cross over. We were in a free fire zone but no one fired
a round. It was also reported at the other end of our perimeter by two
other Marines.
