Default WTWP, more listening

OK, after some more listening to WTWP "Washington Post Radio"
(replacing WTOP 1500 in Washington DC and suburbs) I've got a few
more
opinions:

why
interview a reporter about his article, rather than talk about the
subject more directly?

Because they can't get a "name" to talk to them? Interviews of big
names aren't a dime a dozen.
