Funny that I don't have personal access to test equipment, I work in one of the most state of the art RF labs in the world with equipment galore, but I couldn't sneak in anything to test on. Nor does anyone know a darn about my plight. The radio AFAIK did work fine for a while. So I don't think this is entirely a mod. It doesn't look modified, Funny, I couldn't TX yesterday until i toggled the PA switch (i mashed a bunch of other buttons, but this one finally did it). Although the radio wasn't in PA mode. I was just asking on here so that someone could kinda point me in the right direction to look at. CB radios are disposable, just throw it away and buy another one, or try stamp collecting. SC |
