Where I live, your best to leave it switched off, unless you want to
hear wanna-be police officers playing sirens and CFA pager tones.
You would probably get a more decent conversation with commercial users
on CB Radio here.

That's a shame.
Really.
Works, fine in the bush.
88% of the time, anyway.
Different folks, I suppose.

If this was a perfect world, we, probably, wouldn't
be in it.

*sigh*

back to what I've said many times before...

as long as the CB community don't give a toss about what rules they break,
it will remain open season for the morons..

CB is a "self regulating" band which means it is within the power of the
users to make a difference and clean up the band, or just let it go to the
****house like it is... While ever there remains the attitude of "I can run
whatever power levels I want" and "who gives a **** anyway nobody cares"
this is the kind of behaviour you will get on CB.. morons...

But, it's what the CBers seem to want to happen, isn't it! I mean, mention
the rules on here and they shout you down with a heap of abuse, yet when it
comes to them not being able to have a conversation we get this whole big
whinge about how noby ever does anything and the government don't care..

well people, this is the bed you have all made for yourselves - lie in it
and shut the hell up, OR, start to change your attitudes and clean the band
up! It's all within the power of the users, so when your local repeater is
blocked just remember that the "it's not my problem" or "who cares" attitude
is exactly what keeps it blocked...........
