Hey Vin
From:
(U-Know-Who)
What about Wahoo, Cobia, King Mackerel,
and Marlin?
Yea, the Cobia are good fishing, not such a great tasting fish (my
personal opinion), Mackerel are good for catch and release (a little
oily for my taste) and the Marlin are just starting to make somewhat of
a comeback in the Gulf waters, but if they have an oil spill from the
drilling planned for the future, we can kiss it all goodbye.
Yeah, I don't care for Kingfish or Ling for the
taste either, but they do fight for a fish of their
size!
We have marlin here every summer along with
the sails, usually 50 or more miles off the
coast, but occasionally they come in closer
when the blasted southeasterly wind subsides
for a few days and the water clears a bit.
Yea, man, out there in that Gulf stream.
Of course, it also takes the cooperation of the
Mississippi river too...damned Yankee runoff
polluting the Gulf!
Yea, there's a dead zone up there in the Gulf.
The oil companies...we've not ever had a spill
here from the rigs, but ships are another thing
altogether. But then again, you use oil
products, don't you? Share the risk with rest of
us.
We can't drill our way to lower prices and I think we should have long
ago been off of fossil fuel with all the alternative inventions and
fuels the feds suppress.
Happy holidays.
