![]() Interesting. The hams are just like I said. I was listening to the ham radio operators on my scanner tonight. They were complaining about businesses using family service radios and frequencies. They said that it's against the law and against fcc rules for businesses to operate on fr frequencies with family service radios. The hams want to report the businesses to the FCC for illegally operating their businesses on family radio service frequencies with family service radios instead of using business band frequencies and business band radios. Now everyone, correct me if I'm wrong in this sentence, but I thought that the FCC rules say that it's perfectly legal for businesses to ooperate their businesses on family radio service frequencies with family service radios. I don't operate or own a business at all. I use mine for family communications. Just in case any of the hams try and say that I have an ulterior motive by and from owning my own business. It's reasons like this plus what I posted in the past few days, how hams turned me off of ham radio completely.. I was interested in all kinds of radio ever since I was little, There was even a time when I was looking forwards to getting my ham liscense. But all of you hams turned me off of ham radio completely. I'm glad I'm finally getting back into cb now. I'd much rather be a cb'er than a ham radio operator. The cb'ers are a much higher class of people than you hams who want to report people operating legally as operating illegally. And the people you're wanting to report aren't even operating on any of your ham bands at all!!! They're operating on the family radio service frequencies. And operating legally. As for being a cb'er and getting back into cb. Yeeeeeehawwwwwww. |
