CB noise in ford ranger

Unplug the coax. If the noise goes away it's your antenna, but this problem is a bit notorious of Ford trucks. Sometimes replacing the pump works, sometimes it doesn't. There are various methods used to fix this problem and just as many opinions. Sometimes inline filters work. There have been aftermarket pumps installed meeting with some success.
