Just what the ham radio world needs, another cber who thinks it is
perfectly OK to operate at illegal power levels.

What's your call, CB?

If I wanted to sample some fine brews I sure as hell wouldn't be heading

I'm hearing something along the lines more like steely dan, with your best
Alan Parsons poster illuminated next to the velvet Elvis in the back of
your E-150.

Nice black light, btw.

I could go to Maui for what it would cost me to haul the Plymouth out west
to you, Shark! You'll have to head east instead and we'll agree on a
meeting place somewhere. Bring Jay too! :)

I'm kicking myself for not grabbing that empty seat on the band's bus to Hawaii...

I would be there right now!!!! Maui then Kona. D'OH!

would have managed. I would have filled the seat of an now ex-girlfriend of
one of the band members. Damn! Damn! Damn!

S'funny. I still have a portable one, no radio, justt an old ass
protable 8 track player that still works. It's the tapes that sound
awful. I'm still trying to make a susccessful transition from vinyl to
CD with mediocre success. Damn CD's just sound flat and ANY BMG CD is
garbage. It's like BMG turned down the recording level. There are a
number of cool bands doing the live recording thing, like the Allman
Bros. You can buy the show you just attended on CD thirty minutes after
the band walks off stage.

I've got the conversion from vinyl to CD down

to a science. I even run it through the rice

crispy filter. Once the loud noise spikes are

removed I can increase the volume to almost

0db.

I seriously need to update my stereo equipment. In addition to the old
float-style tuner knob stereo, I have the first receiver model Sony
produced after going digital in the eighties. Speakers range from
Pioneer cabinets on the floor (circa 1976) to the Jensens sitting atop
of the Pioneers, two angled-Bose speakers mounted on the wall and two
JBL bookshelf speakers.

Of course, I've been throwing away lots of bits
to make MP3's for my MP3 player. I always

save the lossless files.

I haven't even started moving anything to pc yet.

I HATE WINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I have had maybe 4 or 5 glasses in
the past 30 years....................... Yuk!!!

Landshark

It ain't so bad every now and then, especially with Italian food. You like
cheese? (fromunda) :)

Nah, no wine here. I think the last time I had a glass was Christmas Eve 15
years ago (give or take).
