Default swearing on the cb

The hams are wanting to outlaw swearing on cb and frs.

Well, I don't like swearing either, but the problem is whose standards
do we go by?

To all you hams who want to outlaw swearing, listen up

My family and the whole rest of the community from where my family is
originally from in the U.S. considers "darn" and "dang" (yes, in
exactly that way" as swearing while "freaking" is considered as not
swearing.

However, where my family lives in the U.S. now, the whole rest of the
community considers "darn" and "dang" as not swearing and considers
"freaking" as swearing.

So do you hams outlaw "darn and "dang" and allow "freaking" or do you
allow "darn and "dang" and outlaw "freaking"? Or do you outlaw all of
them?

So whichever way you hams do it (presuming you get your way), a LOT
of people will be looking at you very verry negatively for violating
their constitutional right to free speech by outlawing words that
aren't swear words.(to them).

You should issue a turn down your speakers warning with that URL.

I think part of the appeal of the HAM community is that it is 'cleaner'
(more sophisticated). A lot of CBers jumped to HAM radio because of the
stuff on CB radio. However, I have to admit, the whole fun of listening to
CB is channel 19, if you know what I mean ))))
Anyway, you're not going to get an unlicensed CB radio community to "stop
swearing". Ain't gonna happen, no matter how hard you try. However, if you
are a CBer, and don't like swearing, you can make a personal choice to stop
swearing if you don't like it.

Are those feeble minded types the ones you intend on selling your amps
too? You really know how to put your foot in your mouth.
