Hey... What Happened to Frank?

Peter... I was just out at your site. I suggest you update your page http://www.citizensband.radiouk.com/...ics/solder.php to comply with RoHS. After all you are part of the European directive. You better get with the program... Is your product RoHS compliant, to the requirements of the UK? Oh, wait a minute... SSM2188S is not RoHS compliant. Is that not the part you use? Does that not make your product illegal to place on the market within the United Kingdom? You had better check all the parts used in manufacture. Dealers could be extremely unhappy if they found their stock seized and used as evidence before being destroyed. But it may not quite be that bad, Trading Standards often offer the chance to disown the items, allowing them to just go straight to the destruction stage. As you were so keen to ensure my Web site met the standards, I am sure that you would want to be sure of the legal position of your product. In case you wondered, according to UK law, Lou's speech processor is exempt but your VoiceMax must comply with the regulations. I suspect that, if any non-compliant products have been sold, those "in the field" would need to be recalled. That could be quite embarassing. Regards, Peter. |

You seems to like the word voodoo... lol And you don't appear to like answering technical or tricky questions. Here's one for you: Is your VoiceMax RoHS compliant? Or maybe you believe that a customer or dealer does not need to know whether a product is legal. Regards, Peter. |

Great... Another stupid, socialist Brit... Why, because I believe that a customer has the right to know about the product they are buying? You think that makes me a socialist? Maybe all the products in all the shops should be in plain black, unmarked boxes - be cause wanting to know details of what we are buying makes us a stupid socialist... huh? Don't forget, it was Griffter who first mentioned the legal requirement. He suggested that my Web site needs to meet the standard (which was incorrect), knowing that his product does not. Does that make him a "stupid socialist", as well as a hypocrite? Maybe you need to take a look at an English dictionary. The person who doesn't want to know before parting with their money is the supid one. Who ****ing cares? Those who get ripped off may care. The CB shops in this country do not sell illegal CB equipment, because they know what happens... from experience. The law in this country appears to go heavier on someone selling an illegal (even if harmless) product than it does on paedophiles (who may get off with community hours or a telling off). It may be a crap system, but people and dealers should at least be informed if something is not legal. Are you still ****ed about your great great grandad Never knew him. getting his ass kicked in the war? Which one, humans versus Dinosaurs? Bloody hell, OM, who f'kin cares? Regards, Peter. |

Here, I'll help you out... "Freddy the Destroyer" wrote... Are you still ****ed about your great great grandad getting his ass kicked in the war? Remember it now? Not being around at the time of my great great grandad, I have no way of knowing which war you may have met him in. Try it for a change you commie *******. Anyone who points out your errors is a commie, huh? Clearly very little about me, as I was born to married parents. You will have to try a little harder. Regards, Peter. |
