Default CB vs. 10 Meter

If I buy a 10 meter radio. That channel takes place of 19 on CB?

Where can I read more on 10 meter?

A 10 meter radio cover 28.000 to 29.600. CB CH 19 is 27.185.

Any "10 meter" radio with a 40 channel selector knob and bands of
channels is a CB, not a 10 meter radio. A 2950 or an 2510 are 10
meter radios because they do not have fixed frequency channels.

Any frequencies outside of 26.965 to 27.405 are called "freeband",
but they are assigned to other users even though you don't hear them.

As others have said, 10 meters requires a ham ticket, and all of 10 meters
is available to those holding general or extra. Techs only get 200 KHz of
voice from 28.300 to 28.500.

Tech is a simple test and general is easy. Extra is a bear!
