Between the crap about adair and mork it's amazing people still frequent
this ng. The days of people arguing about feed line length versus swr
seems like a distant memory. Are there any old timers here who want to
try and turn the tide?

*What's up OG???? LOL!!!!! Well you are right, but a good
filter doesn't hurt. It saw 89 post BBAAAAMMMMM, only
8 after filters. Going to see this collection tomorrow, wish you
& Steveo were closer, I know you two would like it.

Nice site Sharkie. Thanks. I'm more particular to the air side of defense
as the family has been building planes since the '30's. Last plane was the
F14D Super Tomcat. Its retired now so I've moved on to state of the art
telecomm's.

*No problem, love military air, just more towards WWII, not the modern, push
button stuff. That collection was awesome, it was amazing the stuff that guy
has.
* I'll let you know when I'm out your way, visiting the Smithsonian. We'll
make a day or two for the Air & Space museum.

Any conditions on 10/11 meters?

I heard nothing but locals on 10/11.
20 and 40 were another story!

Even a general ticket will get you most of HF...but some folks like it in one place only.
Ain't nothing wrong with that...

I can't block the assholes because they keep changing stuff in their addys.
I wish they would stop it already. I don't want to hear their bullsh!t.
I find myself peeking in and marking the NG as read.

Hello Scott in Baltimo

I have keep an eye on the conditions as well, and Iam not hearing
anything except some scattered skip out the Central and South America
areas.

The experts are also befuttled asking were is the skip in sun spot cycle
24 is. I have called then a few times but eventually get hung up on!
They must not shot skip, or want to get their knee's in the brezze?
http://www.solarcycle24.com/

As I tune across the bands I am hearing a noisy power line down our dirt
road, and the boys won't fix it. So I will have to fix it.

20, 40, and 80 have and some local traffic but not much. I was tuning in
on 12 meters and thought I heard a FM station out there.... more listening

Keep the goof balls out of the news group is a easy as turning your beam
to get rid the goof balls on the radio, and even takes less times. I
just filter them out, takes about 15 seconds. And ya get good knowing
who they are so even becomes esiser.

Was your nose itching yesterday? I was thinking that I hadn't heard from you in a while!

How about somewhere in the extra portion of 20 meters?

Jim, this place is a sewer because of Steve. He's a pure lowlife
impersonator who has chased the regs out of many groups and now he's getting
what he deserves. No actually, if and when he dies a horrible death, then
he will get what he deserves.

Hey old buddie I still think 18 feet of coax on a mobile setup is
better than 12 foot for resonance and swr. Hahahahhaa LOL!!! Let the
arguments begin....

hehe just figured out who you were. Feed length 'does' make a difference
when calculating swr
