cb radio equipment upgrade

i am replacing my defective cobra 19dxiv.there seems to BE a mic muffling issue so i will stop using the COBRA 19 DX IV .WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE REALISTIC TRC 431 40 CHANNEL BASE STATION CB RADIO Can this replace the defective cobra 19 dx iv.
