even so twisty but there resides on this ng those who claim to be non
amateurs who will continue to remind those newbies which side of the law
to stay on. never ending cycle...

No doubt,,only the lids in question have taken a very pro-active
agressive campaign against otherwise passive cbers in this group for no
reason other than personal contempt. This is merely but a way for
sandbaggers (and there are puh-lenty) or any of those who may have been
harassed or wronged by one of these lids...to return the favor by doing
the right thing and following the "proper" channels. The lids are so
concerned about the law, let 'em start obeying it and they can lead by
example. Those who have done no wrong and are in compliance, have
nothing to fear...g..after all,, that is what we are always told by
those that are more than likely in violation. Who wants to guess who is
next to make the rainreport from Rec.Radio.Cb?

hopefully no one.

Pshaw! If these hammies that refer to themselves as the "AKC" break the
law, they deserve everything they get,,just likethey claim the cbers
deserve....this is where I again agree with JerryO. What's good for the
goose...

being cynical, in 20-30 years time i see the cb

hobby done in by corporate noodniks wanting

ever decreasing bandwidth for commercial

reasons.

I see it almost dead by that time, too, but for other reasons.
Technology is rendering the medium obscure and less young folks are
interested.

how much political pull does the average cber

have? 0 arrl at least tries to protect its

allocations. is cb doomed? yup

freeband to **** people off....

Freeband to **** people off? Why in the world should freebanding ****
people off, especially when it doesn;t bother them otr have anything to
do with them whatsoever? I know it ****es off a certain element (usually
nocodes, as they have no HF access) but they need to upgrade instead of
flaring their jealousy at cbers and freebanders. Frank and Lelnad and N8
and WA3MOJ and Davie (the Hypocrite Hall all claim that freebanding
affects legal services, yet we have a hammie, a Mr. Eric Oyen, who
resides in one of the most lawless cities in the nation for cb, hammie,
and freeband radio, and he claims the freeband isn't a problem with
interference to legal bands, the ten meter band in particular. Given the
posts of all mentioned, I am inclined to believe Mr. Oyen in this
instant.
