communications to the horn with ease....had Rhode Island, Delaware, and
parts of Pennsylvania yesterday on 38 SSB, no Maryland,,,,lately when we get skip from Maryland, it seems to always come from the other side of the state. Florida is a hard state to hit from here, like New York City. Upstate works. I hear south starting about the Carolinas. In response to your endeavors involving knocking the AMers from Florida off the frequency with 200 whiskey SSB on the sideband channels, try channel 40..you can do this as frequently as you wish and never run out 40 is used here by a group that's been on CB longer then me, and are hams as well. I keep hearing them on the bands. I may have to make contact soon... for Fl or TX on a daily basis. Next time the skip is running from your area, email me,,we may be able to communicate.,...........perhaps legally. Since the skip noise has been overwhelming lately, 90% of our club is hanging on 2 meter simplex. About every half hour, someone checks 11 meters and reports it's still trashed, so we stay on 2. We would like to be able to use 11 so we don't have to be so careful as to what we say. It will be on tonight. Net is 2030 local time. |
