First the cloud sends a leader to the ground then the earth fires
back a hugh bolt to equalise the difference of potential.

well tesla said that it went from the earth to the sky.........seems
funny but i can understand the electrical theory of it......also he
could prove it....he built lightning machines and he said he could get
it to 'strike' anywhere he wanted it to..........maybe it would be
useful if we set one of those machines outside bill clinton's
house..........that would be nice.............
