It does what it says on the tin... It's a club exclusively for magicians.
I haven't been down there for years, but I believe that there were members
from other countries as well as all over the UK.


publicly supported org 's should be open to anyone. privately supported
orgs have no need for gov intervention. period. what goes on in the uk
doesn't fly here.

Exactly. They are funded by the regular church members.
I believe that members of a church which allows such things should make it
clear to the church that they will leave the church if it does not sort out
the problem. If the church threatens them with damnation for not staying
in their "one true church", they only need point out that the Bible clearly
says otherwise.


all this religious crap eventually comes back to money. cynical? you
bet....


It does for the big, well known churches. Look at how much money some of
the big churches have, and the fine posessions owned by those churches.
However, there are small churches and groups that meet up, just having
enough to cover the cost of hiring the meeting hall with some meetings in
members houses.



Following church leaders too closely is like driving too close to the car
in
front. You are fine as long as they know their way, are going where you
want to go, and keep going in the same direction... but can you guarantee
that? If they drive off a cliff, you will not see it until it's too
late -
and you follow them.

follow your head not what someone tells you...


There are times when a little guidance can be useful, but not all the time
as some people seem to want.
