Talked with one of the tech's, we came
up with an idea that should work ok.
On the pass. rear there is the tire rack,
we are going to manufacture a mount that
will use the bolt pattern of the rack mounts,
but still bring the antenna out of the way
of the liftgate. It should give me a good
grounding and leave the antenna out of the
way of most things. I'm not sure of what
antenna yet, 102, Skipshooter, Quad Wound
which ever seems to work best I guess.

Sounds tight. I'd be afraid of a tree pruner, unless
it was a Jeep!
