Hi im new to this group and have aquired on Ebay and am waiting to
receive in the mail a Sonar FS-23 23 Channel Tube CB radio. Are these
radios any good ?. I like the way it looks but was wondering how good
the Receiving - Front End and the Modulation - Transmit is for this type
of radio.... Thanks

Brian........That is a very good radio for the time. Comparable to many
others of the day, Johnson 223, Lafayette Comstat, etc. I haven't had much
luck with the Ebay stuff, receiving 2 radios in the last year, that did not
work!! Oh, they would assume it worked, just because it powered up- Good
