Hi, take a look if you like. This is a HB-444/25B going back to late 1967. The "B" version is EXTREMELY rare. It's not in any Lafayette catalog!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3062199074 Nice radio, but why does the meter on the radio show 2 watts while the meter on top show 4 watts? I mean, radios of that day were rated for 5 watts -input- to the final, which usually resulted in no more than 2 watts at the jack, and that is consistent with the radio's meter. Turning them up higher distorted the audio and burnt out the final in a very short time. Has this radio been modified to meet current specs, or was the external meter adjusted to show 4 watts? Do you have a pic showing the inside of the chassis like you do for the other radio? And why do you have the reserve so high? -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
