If you apply for a job as a baker, butcher, nurse, brain surgeon, pilot,
etc. and in the Interview, when asked what qualifications or experience you
have, you produce nowt but an Amateur Radio licence... would it get you the
job?

All certificates have their place. None of the certificates I have would
not get me any of the above jobs - they mean nothing to the people
involved... but they have got me plenty of jobs in the fields they cover.
