Default Hammie gets ten years

Well, well, well,,,,apears a hammie in Washington was funnin' around a
bit too much,,,this doofus that had no self-control used the US postal
service, internet, AND the phone company to "harass" another hammie who
got the best of him on the air and on the internet...
,,,,,lets see what the feds called it,,,,,"using facilities of commerce
for interstate stalking".
He was sentenced to ten years in prison. (multi-counts from several
years of harassment)
His "victim" saved everything, copies of internet threats, tape
recordings, copies of posts, and kept impeccable records of the
harassments and numerous threats over the last several years. Great
thing about usenet,,you can't take it back.

If it is accurate and, yes, it has happened before, then he got what he
deserved, "hammie, CBer, or whomever.

Whatever mistakes he made, Twist, number one was to use the US postal
service. You ain't dealin' with the FCC there. They have *no* sense of
humor whatever.

Would you happen to have a URL?

=A0=A0This was on the rain report not too long ago. I'll see if I can't
get you a url and more information citing the particulars...it's crazy
down here,,,Spring Break officially began last week and I can't keep up
this year...think I just may take a looong summer vacation road trip
this year.

hey twisty take a charter boat during bluefish

season here on the island. nice........

Wow,,can't believe you said that,,,,I HAVE taken a Bluefish charter out
of Sheepshead Bay years ago,,great fun and big toothy fish,,,great
fighters. Special places on my list of things to do in your area: Visit
a good college bud in Plainview who has been after me for years to come
visit,,,,Lindys, the best cheesecake in the land, Rockaway (old memories
of Rockaway and Coney Island) and I can't forget the Village,,,,,if I
can recover from the check I just mailed to Unca Sam by summer,,,,NY may
definitely be on the itinerary...wife wants to go to Maine and I was
thinking about even going a bit further. We have a standing invite from
a longtime DX club member who I have talked to for many, many years on
Cape Breton Island,,"Canso" to be exact. Been to Canada, but never up
in the extreme northeast corner. If NY is on the itinerary, I'll be sure
to let you know...it's been awhile since I've been to the big
city,,,,with the exception of Miami and Atlanta.

How well I remember spring break in Fla. Well actually I don't, all I
remember is alot of drinking, alot of hot looking babes.

One club right on the beach, I believe it was in the Ft. Meyers area,
that to get in you of course had to be old enough to drink, but also
wearing beach attire, and once you got past the age check point, you
were walking around in beer foam up to your neck. What was cool about
that was the girls once under the cover of the foam would remove thir
bikini's, made for some fun dancing heheh.

One of the girls from the local Red Cross office just came back from
Fla, she went down to visit her daughter and son-in-law who are both
Sgt's in the Air Force. Of course she came back just in time for the
cold and snow up here.

I told her, if she'd have brought me back a beach bunny like I asked,
the weather would have been nice, but since all she brought me was a
coffee cup, she came back to nasty weather hehehe.

Oh, spring break on S. Padres Is. is a blast too
