Just LOOK inside one and one from the Phillipines and you will SEE the
quality difference in HOW they were made. When they are made with less quality, they have MORE problems in the future (future breakdowns, and MORE current breakdowns. When you are in a communist system, everyone supposedly makes THE SAME $$$ (NO insentive to work harder to do a better job for rewards (Biblical concept). This makes EVERYTHING the commies touch JUNK and a LOT LESS quality than items made in "freeer" countries. DON'T you own any CB's ? You got qustions? I GOT answers ! I'm a CB shop for almost 25 years now! I have SEEN the quality drop every time a factory has moved ! A fairy keyclown that don't know if he is male or female whining. Life is good.
Dave or Debby wrote in message . .. Yep, some REAL BAD NEWS on your CB newsgroup to report. Uniden has NOW made their Classic great CB radios, the PC-68 & 78, which use to be the 66 & 76, which use to be Cobra 29 & 25's before 1992-'94, made IN the Phillipines, NOW they are made in RED COMMUNIST PUTRED CHINA ! I've been in a couple lately, and the quality is DEFINATELY less than Phillipines, but still better than Cobra's quality. We're talking about quality in CB's that were good since the 70's, now taking a BIG NOSEDIVE toward TRASH status. E mail Uniden and tell them that you are VERY UNHAPPY about their descision to support OUR enemies (CHINA, N. Korea, and other GODless states). It is probably a miracle that they lasted in the Phillipines almost 10 years before Cobra quit making them there ! This is truly a SAD day in the CB world, where all these companies are being "forced" by governmental policies to make their radios in RED COMMUNIST CHINA. I bought as many as the OLD ones as I could get my hands on, to sell in the future. I suggest all GOOD CB shops do the same. Now we have Deut. 28 CB's. 2 Chron. 7: 14 IS the answer! I'm back on ! Ain't NO doubt ! 4-10 ! That and the fact he is trying to compare the way CB's were built 25 years
ago just shows he is skirting the issue. Pioneer, Clarion, Alpine, Sony, Delphi, Audiovox, Visteon, and the other manufacturer products i repair are made and/or assembled with products that are made in countries such as the Philipines, China, Brazil, Mexico, Pertugal, etc. Most of the repairs i perform are either electrical component failures (transistors, microprocessors, diodes, caps, etc), or mechanical failures due to under-engineered product, customer abuse, or electronic failure causing a mech to kill itself or just die. In a very few cases, there is an actual manufacturing defect. Almost always a component that didnt get soldered fully, or a piece of a mechanical device that was manufactured (stamped, molded, etc) wrong, and didnt get culled out of a lot before assembly. And in other cases, rough handling during shipment account for a small percentage of failures. So, blame engineers, inspectors, shippers, and assembly lines for your problems Dave and/or Debbie. In the real world of mobile audio/visual/navigation equipment, which is far more complicated than a walkie-talkie, there is no single blame to point out. Everyone everywhere is a **** up. Face it, and get on with life. Everyone out here know about how much you hate the Chinese and then try and spread the word of god on top of it. Blasphemy, paranoia, xenophobia, and racism Dave. The big invisible elephant in your livingroom. Just like alcoholism. There is your explanation Andy, from someone who actually needed some specialized education and training to perform his tasks. Too bad the truth had to be told by someone who started down this this road only 8 years ago from a CB hobby, instead of Doper Dave and his 25 years worth. |

I'm talking CB's, NOT walki-talkies. You fix car radios. I fix CB's AND car radios. I IS da man; you are da chinese sympathizer! Everyone everywhere is NO they are NOT--just because YOU ARE does not make US good techs out here what you think, which is a LIE ! a **** up. Face it, and get on with life. You still havent answered Andy's question of what specifically makes Chinese
manufactured products a lesser quality product. If you dont know, just say so. Ignorance is simply not knowing. Nothing wrong there. "This IS showing poor manufacturing, which CHINA does poorly!", says Dave. O.K.... Lets assume for a moment that your opinion is fact. China manufactures poorly. Are you speaking of the automated process ? In that case, you must know where these assembly line products were manufactured. What if the optic sensor for that particular phase of the soldering process was having a bad day ? That sensor may have been made in Italy, or Brazil, or Canada. Maybe even the US. Who do you blame now ? You painted yourself into a corner long ago with this tired old story of China this and China that. Let it go, babe. Let it go. A couple final bits of news in case you havent been in a new vehicle lately. Car "radios" now play MP3's, DVD's, and have this ability to use what we in the normal sector call "navigation through global positioning satelites". They are just a wee bit more intensive to diag and repair than the radios you constantly whine about. Sorry it bothers you that i didnt sit content dicking with simple equipment. That and GM farming a lot of the parts on their new Equinox SUV. China gets to build at least the engine, and i forget who gets to build the tranny. Mayhap this news will drive your blood pressure up enough to trigger a fatal heart attack. Would be ironic to die becaused you were so cheesed off at 'em. Remember...Answer Andy's question and i'll back off Davy. As much as you want to spew at me, you need to prove yourself a man and finish what you started with him... |
