I continue to receive e-mail concerning the comments
I made about some of the larger radio distribution
companies and the still-unfounded-rumors of a litany
of back orders. Judging by some of the responses
I received, it is inevitable that there is a basis of
truth to the allegations concerning a connection
between easily modifieable 10 meter radios and
companies not having them in stock.

However, it appears that this is confined to just one
or two companies at this time. Keep sending me your
personal experiences about backorders. So far,
they range from the slight inconveniences to the
outrageous (3 months or more), I will compile all I
receive in an honest effort to find out if these experiences
are due to increased pressure from the Feds or
just attributed to shoddy customer service.
