Hello -
Newbie question for the group: I am trying to install a CB radio in my
vehicle. The radio is a Cobra 18 WXST II. The power cord supplied with the
unit has 3 permanent wires - the normal black wire [for the ground], the red
wire [to power the unit] and an orange wire for ??? I am stumped - the
owners manual makes no mention of this 3rd wire in the installation
instructions, the radio manufacturer has no info on their FAQ's on their
website. Any idea's/help from this group would be greatly appreciated.
