The antenna is on the trunk and has an SWR of 1.05:1 on channel 28 and
isn't higher than 1.2:1 on

Is your antenna mag-mount or proper mount? Trunk hinges are not good RF
grounds. Get some braid
and connect the sides of the hinge together. Just drill a hole and mount it
right if you're mag-mount.
