You're only going to see 1-2dB gain maximum (more likely 1dB) from this rather dubious "peak and tweak".. Better feedline, or a better antenna will get you that, plus it applies to any radio you use, not just that one. :: applause :: its a legitimate question though the good ant is always a plus. as with ham rigs, places like a&e provide a service to keep the rigs on freq etc. for cheaper pieces of equipment like cb's there are quite a few posters here asking basically the same thing. tuning for peak performance doesn't necessarily mean more watts. |
