Ah...good point.
Don Well, I've never tried using one for dx. I'd rather do that without any help. The repeater was just for getting mobiles and hand healds on an equal playing field with base stations around town. For that, it works great. When the skip starts rolling, your freind across town isn't going to hear you while your on a trc-216 even if you have it's antena fully extended. (unless you connect it to an external antenna and maybe run up some heat). -Dr.X |
