New radio has chirp on keyup

New radio has chirp on keyup

Old rig died, bought new rig at truck stop (middle of RV trip). Travel
group says new rig has a chirp/squeal at keyup (Only at keyup, fine
after
maybe 1/2 second). Its the little midland.

Anyone guess what up besides porked rig. Cant take it back where I
bought
it, thats 500 miles away.
