Don't forget to check for good connections on the power side... A bad
ground, or a weak + will do that too, in certain inexpensive radios...

Not a thing on my end, everythign sounds perfect. They just said it was
chirping at first now its a short loud squeal for 1/2 second. Then
everything
is fine.

Remove THREAD to reply.
If you are running a cheapo amp it's a common problem. Usually stems from
an impedance mismatch causing resonation in the feedline/antenna. They are
actually hearing a harmonic of the resonation.
If it's a bone stock rig check your line and antenna for damage and SWR.
Won't hurt to know your ERP either. If all is well the radio's output
section may need tuned. Has it been screwdrivewr modded? Or peaked?
