Why do people still buy the old Cobra 2000s for $200 plus on E-bay.
They suck, and most are worn out, in fact they were not worth **** to start with. If you think they were good radioes you must be a dum ass CBer. |

If you think they were good radioes you must be a dum ass CBer. Actually, if you base your comparisons to "CB radios" the 2000 was equally as good as the 148gtl. It just had more bells and whistles. The board was pretty much the same. If you are going to compare it to today's "CB radios" I think it still holds it's own. On the other hand, if you compare it to 10 meter rigs* converted to work 11 meters, yes, it's junk. -Dr.X *not counting garbage like galaxies and such masquerading as 10 meter rigs. |
