I have a Cobra 7 Ultra CB radio that I have stashed in the car.
The antenna connector to the unit need to be redressed. Can I just get a new connector and replace the old one, or is this a tuned line? Thanks The anntenna base is magnetic. The antenna is aboaut 18 inches long and screws on to this magnetic base. |

did - now someone here says I should tune it. The antenna
has a section that comes in and out held on with a allen screw. I think I'll just leave it. Apparently it takes an meter which I don't have. Thanks. Should work ok.
