But he did create a stereotype. Kazmah the 'dream reader' and other memorable characters populate this tale of terror, as sinister Eastern forces work to control the west through the opium trade... Sax Rohmer, creator of Fu Manchu, returns to the Yellow Menace theme that so characterized his work. |
