What's up, Frank?

My cholesterol.

Ahh well,,,,enjoy the holiday feasts and try the Lipitor after the new
year.

Good thing I live near Canada!

I was thinking about applying for Tenet's old

job, but I hear that's going to be filled by

someone from a temp agency since Bush isn't
going to last the full term.

And the sob just got a medal from the fruit loop. "Catastrophic success"
he called it,,,,,came on the day of the second highest casualty rate
since the bogus "war-on-terrists (sic)" began.

Are you talking about the "Medal of Freedom" recipients?

Happy Holidaze to you and yours!

Bah, humbug.

Hey, are you watching the Washington

Governor recount?

Only started paying remote attention to it when you told me to who to
watch.

Fascinating scenario: Rossi won the first count by 44 votes; missing
ballots keep turning up and get rejected by the courts; and with 69%
of the recount finished there are more than 1000 new votes -- in a
state where most of the ballots are optically scanned and computer
tabulated. At least we have a paper trail. I hear they did away with
the paper trail in Florida. That's scary now that we have proof the
computers are..... well, 'inaccurate'.

And what have you heard about the Ohio

recount?

Same thing you have. I think you summed up the entire situation quite
scholarly..."imposed democracy" IS an oxymoron, and a country that is
unable to manage its own honest elections has no business attempting to
force its incompetence upon another nation.

Those weren't my words -- I paraphrased from the hearing I watched on
C-Span a couple weeks ago. And I agree with it 117%.

1. Remove hard drive holding valid ballot data;
2. Replace with hard drive holding manufactured ballot data;
3. Demonstrate procedure to computer-illiterate investigators;
4. Go home and cash check.
