Midland has 2 GMRS 2 way radio sets (among many others) on their
website.
The GXT-300 VP1 ia a GMRS unit rated at 3 watts and the GXT-400 VP1
rated at 4 watts.

Three and espically four watts is quite a punch for such small units.
Has anyone had the opportunity to try out these units and if so what
were your impressions ?

Waht is the current limit for a required FCC licence for GMRS radio?
