That Turner +3B I got from the attic seems to work real well. I got glowing
reports. When I first wired it, I put the no-connections wires on pin 5. I
didn't remember that pin 4 and 5 on the HR-2510 are channel up and down. So my
channels were scrolling at light speed ! LOL. Fixed that real fast. I didn't
remember because I never used the original mic.

Yea, you'd end up out of band real quick with that set up. lol

Any TVI problems with your antenna being that close?

Will update that tonight. So far no. It did set off one of my carbon monoxide
detectors. Though.

Of course you are running illegal power with that radio
it is not legal for CB so whatever results you got are
because you cheated, went outside the rules, basically
dishonest, not to be trusted, etc.

Say buh bye to aol usenet, loser.

And now, the end is near,
And so I face the final posting.
My friends, I'll say it clear;
I'll state my case of which I'm certain.

I've lived a life that's full -
I've travelled each and every newsgroup.
And more, much more than this,
I did it AOL's way.

Regrets? I've had a few,
But then again, too many to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without Exception Error.

I planned each newsgroup post -
Each careful word along the byway,
And more, much more than this,
I did it AOL's way.

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew,
When AOL bit off more than it could chew,
But through it all, when there was doubt,
AOL ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall
And did it AOL's way.

I've loved, I've laughed and cried,
I've had my fill - my share of losing (connections).
But now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

To think I did all that,
And may I say, not in a shy way -
Oh no. Oh no, not me.
I did it AOL's way.

For what is an ISP? What has it got?
If not Newsgroups - Then it has naught.
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took the blows
And did it AOL's way.

Yes, it was AOL's way...
