When I got the Turner in the early 1980's, most people swore by the D104. From who I talked to today, it's seems they they like the Turner better. Go figure. It all depends. Most of it according to personal taste. If you want that loud boomy and somewhat tinny sound, the D-104 was tops. If you wanted a little more low end, or you ran SSB a bit more, the Turner +3 was a good choice. The ultimate performer on SSB was the Turner Super Sidekick. Dave "Sandbagger" |
