I came on around then. Went away for a while when the madness
began. Now I just filter like mad. ;-)

I did that once - filtering by name, subject, etc.
Considering that the posts to this group are probably 95% rubbish, It is
better to set up an "accept" list of words and senders.

With both "accept" and "kill", I get the best of both worlds... Known trash is either
deleted or unavailable (posts with an attachment are automatically included in that
trash), known good posts are made available and the rest is header only so that I
can chose whether to mark it for download.

Figures for this group, as shown by my news reader:
Messages totally excluded: 676.
Headers in cache: 334
Messages downloaded: 69.
Out of a total of 1010 messages, only 69 are actually downloaded.

Peter

Also interesting is how this group was created by the will of a bunch
of hams.

Why did you wait so long to decide to inform us that when you were
posting as "Legal Radio", you were really AC6MG? Do some of the things
you said in your posts make you ashamed of your call?

Negative. I have never heard of AC6MG.

I'm not a ham, nor have I ever been.

Look up the bloke's call whose name you are using. Or were you not aware
that second post you made had your name attached to it?

I'm not ashamed of anything I've ever said.

Well, painting all cbers with a negative wide brush certainly wasn't the
most intelligent thing you ever said, but hey, if you believe such
bull****, who am I to teach you differently?

Aww,,never mind, John. Your disdain for cber's is there for all to see,
preserved in google archives for posterity. You are an extra class
hammie,,,, you shouldn't be hanging in a cb group if you have such
personal issues with cber's.

Once again, I am not a ham.

So you say,,,

I do not have issues with CBers.

Ummm,,you forget?

Just the illegals.

Yea,,well then why did you lump all cbers in a negative light?

To tell you the truth, I really don't care one

way or another about CB or CBers anymore.

My interests have gone elsewhere over the

years.

I see. You are here seeking culinary advice.
