Try unplugging the AC cord from the broadcast radio from the wall and
turn it around, if it's not polarized. If it is, get an adapter and
give it a try.
Then ground that radio

It seems my cb is coming through my
am/fm radio when it's off. It's a stock radio
and the tip of my antenna is about 50 feet off
the ground. I am using rg-8 coax.
My question is do they make some
kind of filter to help prevent this.

Go to Wal-Mart and buy a brain. Then get off CB.
Your neighbors will thank you.
