Good call, but the manual calls out for 4x250, same thing I am sure. For a really great web site for all the old Johnson radios and amps look he http://bama.sbc.edu/e_f.htm Wonder why a 6 meter and 2 meter amp isn't offered presently. This amp is is great, works on both 6 and 2 meters. You could hammer down on the 435 guys and yet shoot skip on 6.
