Well, if you ignore their cooking...

Whats wrong with bacon, sausage, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried bread

and
a jolly old pot of tea for brekkie, then a nice piece of roat beef with
mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, sprouts and a little cabbage washed

down
with another jolly old pot of tea..... bit better than McDonalds i

think.
;oP even our cops dont eat donuts ;o)

To be fair, there is some darn good pub-grub if you know where to go. But
regular restaurants... well... perhaps I have been deliberately shielded

from
the better ones.

As for their tea? Horrible! Tea should be served strong, in a tall glass
filled with ice and without sugar or fruit.

Being perfectly honest which restaraunts have you tried in the UK?? Some pub
grub can be amazing but it depends where you are, like anything. Ive had pub
grub you wouldnt want to look at never mind eat and other places it was
well tasty. I know some of the restaraunts in London you would need a
stomach pump afterwards or a hospital stay ..
As for Tea, you cant beat a nice hot cup with one sugar and milk. Coffee's
ok too but i tend to drink tea at home and coffee at work. As for serving
cold tea with ice and sugar and fruit, ive never tried it but you couldnt
really describe that as a pot of Tea
Theres also some very nice sandwich bars too which specialises in all sorts
of sandwiches and french sticks..etc... its just a matter of where youve
visited..
If you ever get to Birmingham on your travels try one of the Balti
Houses.... they can be excellent. Look at it first though and make sure in
your mind it looks a clean well run place... you know what these foriegners
are like ;o)

And toast should be served hot, on a plate, not cold, in a
rack.

Never had cold toast in a rack... ive always eaten mine hot.... Thereagain,
tea should be served Hot in a Pot not cold in a glass... we all do things
slightly different to each other. Being brought up one way doesnt mean the
other way is wrong... pancakes should have lemon and sugar on them not maple
syrup... we could go on...

I have looked and thankfully, found to the contrary. In fact
the *******s killed a large number of my ancestors. Awaiting your

So who are your ancestors... where did they originate from?

Or a Peurto Rican scumbag. The people who came into contact
with The British Empire learnt "well some of you did" how to become
civilised.

In other words, were enslaved. No thanks.

Americans enslaved blacks and nearly wiped out the Native Americans because
they wanted to take the land... the wars with the north and south,
confederates and yankies were some of the nastiest and uncivilised conflicts
in your history and you were well established as Americans at that time and

If it wasnt for the Likes of the British Empire you would be

so
blow it out your ass chummy.........

You have a nice day now, you hear ...

I've always enjoyed 'Simpson's On the Strand' and the 'Hispanola'
(restaurant ship on the Thames near the House of Parliament). Are either
of those fine establishments still around?

Have a look

So i would say yes indeed. I can imagine both these to be expensive to use
but they both look very tempting.

Not quite lad. Here in the former colonies we have what they
call WAL-MART'S or SUPER KMART'S. Now these fine
establishments are what we would call a one-stop-shopping's
store.
You could go in and get your clothes, tools etc etc, all the
while you're getting the food stores. On the way out of the store
you might as well pick up a 9mm along with a spare box of ammo.

Actually, different tribes were constantly fighting, and took slaves
when they didn't just kill them. Later, they discovered that they could
sell or trade their slaves for things that they wanted with the ships
that arrived on the African coast to trade goods. A lot of those ships
were from England, and they took the slaves to other places to sell
them.

Yes i know all about the wal-marts... over here its ASDA which although it
isnt as comprehensive as what you have over there its along the same lines.
Still suprising though that an item such as a gun, especially a 9mm can be
picked up so easily as anything else you wish to buy. The sale of guns seems
so casual its no wonder the Police act the way they do when stopping a
vehical. I have watched lots of the American reality cop programmes and
thought wow, how over the top is that arrest but when you stop and think
these guys could have .. like you say.. bought a 9mm while picking up some
groceries and with the amount of Nuts you have wandering the streets of the
US its no wonder they take no chances.
Oh we get our nuts over here too and i dont know whether its actually
getting worse or with the media today its a lot more publicised than in the
past but a swift squirt of CS gas or whatever they use normally does the
job... wouldnt work against an armed villan as you would be shot while
getting the spray out but fortunately most of our villans arent armed
especially the screwball ones. Well, not with guns anyhow...

So, they will wait till a lot more officers die before thinking about
arming them properly? Typical.

No wonder they don't eat doughnuts. They are too busy looking for
the perp who is going to kill them while they are not permitted to
protect themselves. They are so nervous they can't hold on to a nice,
big doughnuts and cup of hot coffee without dropping the doughnuts and
getting coffee all over their uniforms.

I have NEVER seen any guns or ammunition for sale in any supermarket
in any state that I have been in. That is as stupid as a gun store
selling doughnuts.

On the other hand, some Wal-Mart department stores do sell guns and
their super stores do sell food, but that still isn't a "Supermarket
selling guns" and several Wal-Mart stores were looted in New Orleans.

youll be giving them away free with every box of bran flakes next ;o) No, breakfast cereal here is too cheap for them to be able to do that. Maybe they will let you collect 500 box tops and get a box of bullets, someday. I did heard about the salesman throwing in a free gun rack when someone bought a new pickup truck. ;-)
