Taking into account theres nigh on 4.5 litres in a gallon.. 4.50 GBP United Kingdom Pounds = 8.28851 USD United States Dollars 1 GBP = 1.84189 USD 1 USD = 0.542920 GBP That makes our fuel at $8.29 now... not in the future ![]() Bet that makes you feel better...lol |

Sounds about right.. We pay a boatload more in a lot of things but i guess its just the way it is. House prices can be the worst. You wouldnt believe some of the "crap" some people are buying that costs over £150K ($276,461). The average house is around £200K ($368,619) and anything half decent would be £250K ($460,773) and over except in London where you would have trouble buying a small flat for that with no land at all... I wouldnt mind emigrating to the US but i see that as a dream rather than a reality... |

At £1 per Litre, we are paying £4.54 per imp Gallon, about £3.78 per US Gallon. I am not sure of the present rate, but taking Graham's figure... 1 GBP = 1.84189 USD 1 USD = 0.542920 GBP I make that around $6.96 per US Gallon. Regards, Peter. |

'Normal' fuel with 91 oktane is about 1,43 EURO per litre in Germany. This is 5.43 EUR per US-gallon (3.8 litres) Currency chart is 0.7985 US$for 1 Euro. So we have to pay 6.80US$/ gallon. Diesel is about 1.18Euro/ litre But.... about 70% of it is TAXES & VAT. I drive a 1993 VW-T4 model with 2.4ltr diesel engine and I feed it with=20 rape-oil for 0.68 EUR per ltr wich is 3.24 US$ per US-gallon and gives a = rather cheap milage per Euro for european circumstances.....
