Birmingham is at the forefront of new technology, even the crappy
suburbs are easily capable of 8MB broadband.

We was quite late getting Broadband around here, BT couldn't be arsed to
get it sorted. AFAIK, still no cable around these parts... maybe the engineers
are scared of heights :~)
They could probably same the expense of digging... just lay it all in the old pit tunnels :~)
