Yea that's a good review sight I've read up on a few things on there over the years. I'm not in the market, still have the 30 L1 that I hardly use much anymore. I also have a kenrich 515 that I think is a similar configuration to that galaxy you were speaking of. It's been mothballed for years along with the browning mark IV, it has the veneer on it to resemble the browning. Yeah, alot of the hams really pushed me away from that Galaxy amp. I know the IV has a bad reputation compared to the III. That is why I posted that site. Seems the bad rep comes from a recall that many radios were never sent in for.
