Default 102" whip

Would it be a worthwhile upgrade? Or should I got with a 4ft fiberglass
antenna.

Also, is the 102" worthwhile without it being the full 108" I guess the
108" comes from the spring.

This all depends on some questions...

1) What are you mounting it on - will it look hideous?

2) Where do you drive - drive through's are noisy with 102" whips!!!

The springs are necessary for the length but mostly if you hit
something low... I've never seen a whip without a spring except on a
base antenna so i'm not sure about the mobile tuning...
