Know what 73 is -- what's 99 ?

--
CL -- I doubt, therefore I might be !

Please do when you get the chance. You should come to Jacobs field when the
Yanks play the Tribe, one of these years. Katie bar the door..

Thanks for the humourous inputs (;-)

But have two inputs now.
In the telegraph days, numbers were used for common phrases so as to save
time
Thus 73 was Best Regards
88 was love and kisses

There is a list of 90 + numbers at URL:
http://ac6v.com/73.htm#73

The two inputs I have so far are
99 = "Get Lost" probably unofficial
99 = "Love and kisses" (same as 88)

So for Vinnie and Scott -- the first definition is for you (;-)

Any other inputs ? Must be some old telegraphers out there

CL -- I doubt, therefore I might be !
