I would in a heart but I am tech that in his teen failed more 150 code
tests so I am trying that again

well correcting typo I am not trying that gain freudian slip I gues
FB about the tech ticket. I wouldn't worry much about the code,it should
be
gone soon.

concur completely meanwhile I am trying to finish of my dream of 2 m
EME

Keep everybody posted on the EME. I've never tried it but wouldn't mind
learning a thing or two about it.

As far as your cw goes, to each their own. If you did want to try a contact
on some freq. I couldn't care less about part95 or 97,No up tight ham
here,so you could pick a freq of your choice(within reason, say between 4 mhz
& 9 mhz)

I been an advanced for years, but since it's gone now I'll never
upgrade. It's getting to be a novelty. I'd hate to have to study all that
BS
again.

I have the CSSE's I need for extra they are stargered so the generl may

I'm kind of out of touch with the testing now.Seems like since you passed
the extra you shouldn't need the gneral. But its been years since I took
mine and that was at the fcc office.

expire if the FCC does not act soon but in that I will simply spend a
couple of night stuiding and re take the test is no problem taking it
in the first placce gave me something to do while my wife took her tech
exam

I would recomend if buy a new hf right picking one that includes 6 sure
my rig is multimode multi band (the Yeaseu 847 for me so far a good
triband almosde with a SW receiver atached that is how I have used for
years)

a stand alone 6 m unit no I don't recomend it esp not at THIS point in
the cycle in a couple of years yea

Good advice, think I will look into one of the yaesu's.Don't care much
for
the looks of the newer kenwood stuff.

I have never been a great fan of Kewood it is good stuff but never
seems to "work or play well" with other folks accesories

I com does beter as does alinco (if you get the the intructions on
alinco stuff) but I like my yeasu stuff

Is it able to be converted for full transmit ? Gotta love those cap mods
Running a ft 101 EE here........dam thing transmits on 11 meters for some
reason
